Source: Crosswalk Author: Kelly Givens As a Christian who majored in media design, I cringe when I visit a church website that I know was assembled at the birth of the Internet and hasn’t been touched since. While many congregations might think it frivolous to invest in an online presence, more and more people are gathering in digital communities and using the Internet to find places to connect. The Church is missing out if we ignore the Internet’s potential to meet the culture where it’s at.

Source: Rapzilla "Hip-hop is an expression of what is dearest to you," says Christian rapper KB. "It's coming from who I love. And who I love is Jesus." The religious artist's passion was rewarded earlier this month when his most recent EP, "100," became a minor crossover success -- in part because of a special promotion that involved free devotions for fans through the YouVersion Bible app. 100 went on to hit No. 1 on Billboard's Christian Albums chart, No. 4 on Rap Albums and No. 22 on the Billboard 200, selling more than 14,000 the first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Source: Cup of Joe By: Joel Schimmel Did you know, according to Hollywood, that the main reason God destroyed the ancient world with a flood was because of a lack of environmental activism and overpopulation? Did you know that Noah was a liberal eco-terrorist and the world’s “first environmentalist”? Did you know that Noah was really a callous, dark person? Did you know that Noah was a drunken, axe-wielding murderer? Did you know that Noah threatened to kill his eldest son’s wife and her unborn daughter, because he didn’t want the earth to be repopulated? Did you know that Noah’s old pal Methuselah (really old pal) was a witch doctor who guided Noah spiritually? Did you know that Noah enlisted the help of Satan’s fallen angels to protect him while building the ark? What? You didn’t know these things? Weren’t you listening in Sunday school as a child? Did you miss all of this when you first read the biblical account of Noah and the great flood in the book of Genesis? Of course you didn’t miss these things, because they never happened! The Noah movie, released by Paramount Pictures on March 28th, 2014, will not be the first film used by the liberal Hollywood elite to target Christians and exploit, politicize and twist biblical truth. Nor will it be the last time Hollywood engages in a colossal effort, to the tune of a $160 million, to deceive and make a buck off the faithful. (Source) Source: The Christian PostBy Dan Wooding According to the Hollywood Reporter, "Oscar-winning actor Russell Crowe has been lobbying to get Pope Francis to agree to watch his new biblical adventure story Noah." But according to Los Angeles-based filmmaker, Ray Comfort, the movie is anything but a "biblical adventure." Comfort, whose award-winning movies have been seen by millions, has produced his own version of "Noah" called "Noah-And The Last Days," which is being released on March 28, 2014, the same day as the Hollywood version.
